His pursuit of knowledge did not stop there; he further honed his expertise by acquiring Master degree in Psychiatry,  advanced diplomas in Bach Flower Medicine in London and Music Therapy in the United States. This multidisciplinary training has laid the foundation for his innovative approach, merging the art of healing with the science of sound. His keen interest on Nanophysics, Geopsychology, Philosophy and Anthropology collectively empower his thought and analytical skill in an wondering extent.

Dr. Sinchan Das’s dual career is a testament to his diverse talents. On one hand, he practices as a homeopathic physician committed to advancing the understanding of traditional medicine through rigorous scientific inquiry, the experience  of his medical journey he poured within the soul of his students in an unique way. On the other, he is an accomplished Indian classical vocalist rooted in the Rampur Senia Gharana tradition. His signature singing style, known as “Taantrikari,” has not only captivated audiences but also sparked interest among researchers exploring the therapeutic potential of classical ragas.

Recent studies associated with his work have focused on how specific ragas—such as Darbari Kanada, Abhogi Kanada, Raage Ragshree, and Chanchalsas Malhar—may alleviate symptoms of psychological conditions like insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and stress. While these preliminary observations have generated excitement in both the medical and musical communities, Dr. Sinchan Das remains committed to further research that could substantiate music’s role as a complementary therapy in clinical settings.

In parallel with his clinical and musical endeavors, Dr. Sinchan Das is actively involved in groundbreaking research aimed at demystifying the mechanisms behind homeopathic remedies. His investigations delve into the potential genetic and molecular underpinnings of homeopathy, with future projects set to explore cell signaling pathways in carcinogenesis. This integrative approach could pave the way for novel treatment strategies that combine conventional medical practices with alternative therapies.

Beyond the laboratory and the concert stage, Dr. Sinchan Das is equally dedicated to community service. As the Director of Benevolentia Foundation and the Humanity Institute of Advanced Medical & Cultural Research, he has been instrumental in organizing health awareness camps, medical outreach programs, and telemedicine services across underserved regions of West Bengal and neighboring states. His efforts during the COVID-19 crisis, in particular, underscored the critical role of accessible healthcare, as his organization provided remote consultations to those in need, thereby reinforcing the importance of community-centred medical care. At Brainware University, where he serves as an Assistant Professor, Dr. Sinchan Das is noted for his engaging lectures that challenge conventional thinking in health sciences. His teachings are absolutely guided by the endangered word of current time, i.e. ‘Principle & Truthfulness’. He has established himself as the friend-philosopher & guide for his students. His classroom ethos is simple yet profound: to remain a perpetual student of life. “The day I consider myself a teacher rather than a student is the day my learning journey ends,” he remarked in a recent interview. This philosophy not only inspires his students but also exemplifies the continual quest for knowledge that defines his career. His exceptional way of teaching is recognized by several  National & International Teaching Awards.

Dr. Sinchan Das’s journey is emblematic of a broader movement towards integrative healthcare—a field that values the synthesis of traditional practices and modern research. His work reinforces the idea that healing is not confined to pharmaceuticals and surgeries alone but can also be achieved through art, compassion, and community engagement. In a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, Dr. Sinchan Das stands as a compelling example of how cultural heritage and scientific inquiry can coexist to address modern challenges. His endeavours not only enrich Kolkata’s vibrant tradition of classical music but also signal a transformative shift in how health and well-being are understood and pursued in contemporary India.
