Jr NTR on ‘Devara’: Battling Pre-Release Jitters, Anirudh’s Music, and the Ambitious Vision Behind His Upcoming Pan-Indian Blockbuster

Jr NTR, the action hero of Tollywood and the man behind hit movies like RRR said that he is equally tensed up about his Upcoming movie “Devara” as any other star Jr NTR also gets tensed because of this upcoming movie. “Devara” is Jr NTR’s solo movie after six years of gap with no director like Rajamouli like previous movie RRR. The actor rallied behind his crew and praised the film makers especially the technicians.
One more component of “Devara” that enthusiasm audiences’ interest is an excellent composition of the track by Anirudh Ravichander. Jr NTR appreciated Anirudh stating him to be a dedicated person who knows the role of music in films. Even, he wants Anirudh to go to the AR Rahman level and soon start composing music for world class movies.
This has made ”Devara” to have a scope of a pan-Indian film as the title of the film is common for all language audiences. The title of the film is a little ambiguous and can be translated as “god” or “deity”; the film is to be released in two parts and will include such films as Jahnvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, and others. Realizing the dream of Jr NTR, it is the biggest project apart from the movies made with Rajamouli.
The difficulties that can be observed in the shooting of the movie include, complicated VFX mainly observed in underwater scenes done through intensive work penetrating into the creation of sea environment; shooting in an enormous water tank. Jr NTR thanked production designer Sabu Cyril for making the otherwise complicated artificiality look real, to singles out the amount of work that goes into each shot.
Jr NTR also revealed some interesting trivia about his costars, particularly Jahnvi Kapoor who debuts in Telugu film through ” Devara”. He said that the desire to be in the film was manifested by Jahnvi and so, the producers decided to cast her. Earlier, Janhvi was scared of speaking Telugu and that she cannot match up to her mother Sridevi but she proved everyone wrong with her performance.
