Born in the coastal city of Visakhapatnam, India, Anvesh was raised in a modest, middle-class household. His father, a proud ex-serviceman of the Indian Army, taught him how to stand tall even in silence. His mother, a soft-spoken homemaker, became his first example of unconditional love and quiet strength.

He also played for the Andhra Cricket Association, carrying the spirit of his struggle into every inning, every sprint, every dive on the field.

He serves as President (South India) of the Human Rights Council for India and President (Andhra Pradesh) of the RTI Human Rights Activist Association.
